The mind behind MediSlot

Rishav Naskar is the 15-year-old founder & CEO of MediSlot, one of India's fastest-growing healthcare technology platforms. Born and raised in India, Rishav discovered his passion for solving real-world problems at an early age. While most teenagers were focused on video games and school assignments, he was learning how to code, studying India's fractured healthcare system, and imagining a country where every family — regardless of income, city, or urgency — could book a trusted doctor at the tap of a button.

The idea for MediSlot was born from personal frustration. After watching his own family struggle to find a last-minute doctor during a medical emergency — waiting hours in crowded reception rooms, calling clinic after clinic, unsure whom to trust — Rishav decided the answer had to be technology. Not the kind that treated healthcare as an afterthought, but a platform designed ground-up for Indian patients: verified doctors, transparent fees, ambulance dispatch, medical records, and video consultations, all in one app.

Under Rishav's leadership, MediSlot has scaled to 50+ cities across India, onboarded thousands of manually verified doctors, and served over two million patients. He personally leads product strategy, brand design, doctor onboarding operations, and continues to write code alongside his engineering team — often late into the night, after finishing his school homework.

"Healthcare shouldn't be a privilege," Rishav often says. "Every mother, father, child, and grandparent in India deserves world-class medical guidance from the safety of their home. Age is never a barrier to changing the world — mission is what matters."

Beyond MediSlot, Rishav is passionate about education, youth entrepreneurship, and building technology that puts the underserved first. He mentors other young Indian founders, actively speaks at student innovation forums, and is a firm believer that Gen-Z has both the tools and the moral compass to solve problems that older institutions never could.

His long-term goal is audacious but grounded: to make MediSlot the digital backbone of Indian primary healthcare — a single platform where every Indian, from the most remote village to the biggest metro, can find a verified doctor, order medicines, book lab tests, and summon an ambulance in seconds. Rishav believes MediSlot can reach 100 million Indians by 2030 — and he's building every day toward that number.
